Mega Man 7 gives us the Super Adapter for Mega Man. It fuses the Power and Jet Mega Man into one. However this fusion is not perfect. You can't throw powerful short range punches and the jet part becomes a double jump. You can use your Mega Buster, but you can't slide. You can find or buy an upgrade for the Super Adapter that let's fire your fist as a heat seeking flying fist!
Also if you visit certain rooms in a certain order and defeat Proto Man / (Blues) you can use his shield. Shots reflected can hurt enemies, some shots completely ignore the shield *DR. WILY'S FINAL Form shots! ><*
Beat switches jobs from attack bird to saving you if you fall in a pit. Have to buy whistles for Beat to save you.
Bass and Treble / (Forte & Gospel = japanese) are introduced
