This is not the holiday deviaton.Silver is partially white and gray half bird half hedgehog. Being named Silver follows suit of Shadow and Rouge's style of naming their kids after valuable gems and metals...Therefore Diamnod would be Silver's Mom Storm would be Silver's Dad. Shadow and Rouge would be Grandpa and Grandma.

Hm, I see what you're getting at, but you've missed at least fifty generations. Silver existed 200 years into the future, which would make it impossible for Tails, Wave, Storm, and most other characters, to be alive at that point in time without artificial preservation. Also, I understand that you think it may be possible for Silver to have a relative that is some sort of bird, but look at him. Other than those strange front quills, there is nothing bird-like about him. Perhaps he may have an ancestor that was a bird, but if his parent was a bird, it would probably result in more bird-like features. An ancestor would be more distant then parents, so it's more probable for Silver's ancestor to be a bird then his parents. Also, there is no canon proof that Shadow and Rouge have a style to naming kids, completely because they have no canon children. It may be true in your headcanon or something, but it's not a good reason to say he was descended from Shadow and Rouge. Maybe his great grandfather was named Silver and he was named after him? That's a better way to explain his name. However, it should also be said the best way to explain any Sonic character's name would be by their appearance, abilities, or even personality. In Silver's case, it's appearance, because he has shiny fur, even if SEGA has been ignoring that lately. This has quite a few gaps in it that need better explanation.

200 years just seems like it's too long. If Solaris was so powerful than the whole of earth should have consumed within 10 years. 5 years top. The fact that there are still buildings and roads in the future means that not that much time has passed unless Solaris was just so chaotic. Yeah but Shadow can use Chaos Control and Shadow is IMMORTAL (against age decay) so it might be possible that he had somebody withdraw some of his blood into the other anthro's left except for Rouge because she was pregnant. Or that he went super and Chaos Controlled them into the future where Solaris was less chaotic. so many options.

I know Shadow can't die of age, but I can't really see any Sonic character donating blood or something like that. Not without seeing it in a weird way, anyways, and Shadow has Black Arms blood, so he might be risking recreating the Black Arms and putting the entire planet in danger by giving someone his blood, and I don't think he'd risk that. And I suppose your thing about him Chaos Controlling them into the future makes a bit of sense. Not quite sure.
And besides, Sonic '06 was erased from all timelines forever, and Mephiles was erased from existence, and I'm pretty sure Solaris was erased as well, making the 'Sonic died so he can't be descended from him' theory pretty much invalid. And who knows? Maybe Sonic '06 being erased screwed up the timelines more than that, making Silver only ten years in the future instead of 200? SEGA's never confirmed if anything like that has happened, so I'd play it safe and go with 200 years rather than ten, so any stories I might write won't be messed up if SEGA confirms it's still 200 years. But it's your choice, I suppose.
And, yeah, I know that animals need to eat to. I think everyone knows that.

not only that, but since Silver knows Blaze, and Blaze was from an opposite world, i could make sence...in a backwards, opposite, strange f*cked up way...

It could also be argued that the style is extremely popular in the Sonic-verse.
Sonic was likely the first to have that distinct "brand" and everyone copied it.
Having Sonic Shoes might be a sign a stature in the Sonic-verse, it'd be like owning a pair Nike Air Force One's ($300 for a pair!)

maybe in the alternate time-line he needs shoes and his feet are too big for Shadow's shoes and he doesn't want to wear Rouge's boots so Amy or Diamond gives him their shoes (Or Diamond dies and her shoes go on him when he's a child) and put blue patches on them.
Silver can also hover a short time just as Shadow can.
Silver's hair? Rouge has 4 bangs in the back. Put those bangs on his forehead facing up along with Silver going with the long hair because he wouldn't have time to get it cut if he was always running and trying to survive.
Now if Silver had only 3 bangs then your argument might make more sense.

um... ok. But I still don't understand the fan character theory. I would think that Silver might have a real mom and dad only they were never talked about. Like a lot of the other sonic characters. You never hear about their parents. I also wouldn't think that he would be part bird and part hedgebat.

Shadow's DNA could be superior and not give in to corruption.(if he really is the Ultimate life form)
Which would explain why he has the traits of his white/ silver fur and bird quills but isn't a bird-hedge-bat hybrid.

but in the instance that Sonic was created an ALterenate timeline was created. Silver is from that alternate timeline. Add that Silver is 200 years from the future and it could be possible to get a "Silver". But Storm has to be his father, otherwise he wouldn't get those two huge back of the head quills.

Also in the Game Sonic Riders Zero-Gravity they find a device that can alter gravity.
So it's feasabile with Silver's lineage of adept Energy Manipulators (Shadow and his Chaos Control, Rouge and her innate Emerald sensing ability) along with Time and technology that Tails and Wave could fashion bracelets that would help him focus / absorb / store his innate powers with a boost from technology and limiters to prevent him from going crazy. Silver has the same limiters on him like Shadow does. (Sonic 2006 Shadow's ending, he takes off the bracelets and plows through clones like they were nothing.)
