25 Years of Metroid in one image is no easy task.
This is by far one of the most ambitious things I ever tried to tackle. For the anniversary of one of my all time favorite series' however.. I had to pull out every stop.
It was a blast though

Just made this my desktop background. Hopefully that's no issue since I won't be using it otherwise. This is a wonderful piece, really quite impressive. I just got back into Metroid lately with trying the Metroid Prime Trilogy, and this pic really appealed to me ^^

So, I've talked to the artist of the HoaH covers.
He found it weird that it was down, he talked about to the hoster.
I don't think the official website will come back though, but at least, you can download all music at the Metroid database website.

I noticed after I searched Harmony of a Hunter download.
If you want to torrent the crossfaded tracks, use MDB. If you want the non-crossfade, you need to use Mediafire, which is a pain because unless you have Pro, you'll get an ad for each track. If you don't torrent and want the single tracks, retropixel is fastest.

Well, I already got all the albums, I'm oonly saddened that I can't share it anymore to others, unless I've to use my own copy to share around.

Yo, if you guys need the tracks uploaded which are different from MDB's, I can add my albums on dropbox and give you some links. Though I believe they have crossfades in them because thats how the album was mastered. It's been a few years so I'm not 100% sure.
As for the official site: He wanted to get it all onto shinesparkers itself eventually but it's much less of current priority since the albums are so old.

I love how the only reference to Other M is the tiny Bottle Ship in the corner. It's like "The whole Metroid series... and Other M."

You caught me, man!Β I had no interest at all in including other M on here but I knew I had to. Thing is though, there is barely much iconic stuff from that game anyway. Most of it are things from other games, and Adam, I guess.Β But I'm not putting Adam on this. Screw that guy.

I especially love the center piece, where it all started.

I put a lot of thought into how I wanted this to be composed. A whole month of just planning it all out. So I really wanted to carefully represent everything I possibly could. I'm glad it paid off!

Still probably one of the most heavy projects I've done when it comes to that. A straight month of layout and picking images...
