Do the same with a picture instead of a photo...
How do I go about that? 8D

You can apply the same process steps with any picture or photo. For example you could use this tutorial on something you've drawn instead of a photo to make a pixel version of it. This process doesn't work as well with artwork, but you can use it as a base to build off of.

hmm.. interesting... I'd prefer just challenging myself and pixeling things myself but this sounds like it'd be fun to play with c:

Yeah I see that, it just bothers me because I'm part of this art forum that sells small pixels for people to put on their profile cards on another site called imvu and there are so many thieves and lazy people no matter what we try and do, I feel some may be doing this to copyrighted pictures they shouldn't use because that is against our guidelines. Hopefully they haven't been doing this but who knows. People these days D:

I definitely plan on using it for fun though, curious of what my cat will look like in a small pixel form lol

It's photshop...If you know your way around GIMP (which is free), you may be able to do the same thing.

Uh...
Huh.
I only have Paint.NET and the Windows paint programs. Well, I also have GIMP, but I have absolutely no idea whatsoever what the heck I'm doing with it. It's super confusing. I also have Inkscape, but same deal there. |D

As long as your program has opacity, and the option to change color modes, you should be able to do it.
