where do i change size on the Pen tool?
👍: 0 ⏩: 1
Lina01 In reply to frisci [2007-07-10 12:34:53 +0000 UTC]
it's your brush size, if you don't see the changes, right click on your path layer and choose the last option in the menu, then choose the brush and it should work ^^

I understand EVERYTHING but the part with the pen. (Im using the normal pen not the freeform) So, Im doing perfectly fine with the straight lines, but when I come to a curve it sorta 'links' the two lines of the pen together. I have NO idea if you understood that, Im not that good and explaining this kinda stuff. I tried the freeform pen but it just doesnt work for me. I dont like it. Yea... thats my only question so far. If you could attempt to answer that it would be greatly appreciated. It would be better if you could message me because Im really lazy. xD Thank you again!

XD the freeform pen is not really an intersting tool, I don't know how to explain better how to use the normal pen (my english is not very good XD) but maybe this tutorial will be helpful -> [link]

Thank you so much for this! Although the process seems really long, it will be a great help for me (when I get a scanner
) However, I was wondering if I could do the inking on paper, and then clean it up a bit on Photoshop?

I'm happy you like it ^_^
Yes it's possible, I do it sometimes (I draw my sketch with a blue pencil, then I ink with a 0.1 black pen or a normal pencil and I erease my blue sketch in photoshop->hue/saturation->choose blue or cyan and I put the light to the max) But I don't like to do this because I like verry clean lines XD

I think... i'm going to cry... T_T
Before I learn how to colour like that, I need to learn how to draw. Can you suggest a talent-sucking tutorial so that I can learn to copy people's wonderful abilities like yours?

this is very useful but theres one thing i dont get for the line art.
When i add the new layer to outline the skin another different layer comes up and i cant click on the little circle to stroke the lines with the brush... photoshop is confusing

check if you're on the new layer before applying the lines, maybe you're still on the locked background, if not... I don't know XD.
By the way thanks for your comment !

Awesome.
And - don't worry about the "bad" English. People whos natural language is English write a lot worse than you.
Thank you!
