Description I started this the same time I started "The Kite Flyer". But lost interest. I was not sure I liked the mountain pathway, but that was how I envisioned it. I went to finish it a few times, but lost interest. Found it in the back of my closet not to long ago, and made myself finally paint in the hummingbird. So there you have it.... Inherited Memory. The title came from lyrics in a Chemical Brothers song I liked.

Thanks a bunch, that was nice of you. Hey I love your pear photo. I have a thing for pears for some reason. I have been toying around with a new one, but I don't want to paint water. I like how you grouped them and the wall is awesome! - Linda

thank you Linda!
that pear photo was really a "found" one. that was at my parents' house. my father grouped those pears there. he just collected them in the garden. and yes the wall has many layers of paint and it looks really good when the paint starts to peel

for your picture i guess it's really hard to paint water (for me it was impossible but i'm sure you could do that perfectly.

Well it turned out totally Awesome! The wall added so much interest. I like how you addes so much of the wall.

I can't leave that Idea alone. One day I will paint the pear in water. : )

I could kind of tell the way you said you kept putting it back in your closet. Ha ha I do the exact same thing, except I stick them in a folder and evey once in a while get them out to see if I like them any better.

I't funny, if I don't like something it really rubs me wrong and I work on it till I fix what I don't like. I don't like to give up. I don't think I ever threw away a canvas. That painting and one other I totally shoved away. I got out the ohter one as well and I am working on that and totally changed the meaning of the painting. It is an elephant flying...... odd yes.

Great composition and captivating concept. I'm thrilled by how the sharp daylight from the portal brings a disturbing sence of density to the surrounding scenery.

I dont know what else to say every time you post a new picture of your paintings. I mean, I can repeat words a lot, but I'd rather say nothing this time because you know how I feel about your art, and this time it's not different. I love this piece!
