Description
My PC hates me now.I present my entire collection of Clan models so far! Well, except for my Kodiak: [link] From left to right: Mad Dog (Vulture); Timber Wolf (MadCat); Dire Wolf (Daishi); Summoner (Thor); Hellbringer (Loki); Elemental (Toad).
I rebuilt the cockpit section for the Dire Wolf since it was badly done in the original build (though you can't really see it in my older renders) and replaced its weapons with my collection of newer models. Plus I replaced the interior with a more detailed version that is in all five Omnimechs in one setup or another. I also reworked the scale of every model here so that they better match their size and weight when compared to each other.
The Elemental powered armor trooper in the foreground stands at 2.5 meters tall.

Are these able to be ported to SFM by any chance?

I don't generally like sharing models freely. Especially not after I've had a few end up on sites like Turbo Squid (though this was years and years ago) under someone else's name. Sometimes I'll send the files to individuals though.
As for file conversion? I use TrueSpace as a modeling program, and converting it to a friendly format to be ported to SFM would take a lot more work than I'd want to do.

Fair enough ^^Β
Just was curious about it. Thank you for responding!Β

Sure thing!
Though if you're after BattleTech and MechWarrior stuff, there are a lot of models ripped from MechWarrior Online floating around.

I found a few gmod ports. But not a lot. Only have like 5 mechs.
Was looking for a bit more variety.

Hm... Well there are a lot of models on thingverse. They're in STL format for 3D printing. But if you know how to convert them (like say, import into Blender, then export to SFM) that might work?Β

Pretty sure there are some tutorials on youtube for doing something like that.Β

6,000 ways to get your ass kicked : 5 giant mechs, plus 1 elemental who thought it would be fun to bring 5,999 more of his friends
to your demise....

Wouldn't that add up to 6,005?

It would if you count the Kit Fox sneaking up on you from behind.... XD
you know elementals always attack as one large swarm...
BTW : I Found my Ghost Bear's Legacy CD!!
Oh -Β a good hunter/killer mech if you arm her right : the Puma. She has a low center of gravity, and can hide in spots where normal sized mechs can't go..

I haven't done any light Omnimechs yet. The Kitfox and Puma look like good units to try out. *adds them to the list* And I love using Toads in games. A point of 5 armored soldiers with a propensity to tear apart leg actuators and rip off armor plates and pull pilots out of their cockpits.
I know where my GBL disk is. Sadly I can't run it on my current PC. My copy of MW2 was coded specifically for the ATI 3D RAGE graphics card and refuses to run on any other system. That thing came out in 1995! Oh for the nostalgia of 500 polygon 'mechs and the thumping musical tracks. At least the music part of the CDs still work.

Another good light mech to try out is the Osiris. That beast is faster than the Jenner ! I'm not sure if it has jump jets or not...
The Cougar is a good alternative too.
Don't remind me. A few years ago, I called a few friends of mine... some relatives too- andΒ we had a 24 hour Battletech free for all ( all online using a single dedicated server my cousin set up )...and my Vulture got swamped by 10 elementals...got 8 of the f*****s before I was defeated. Not fun at all..... XD
Leave it to me to stick all my mechwarrior discs in a cd case labeled ' Madden'.
I still have the OLD Mechwarrior 2 disc for the PS1...
and the lappy I'm using can't run the games to save its life, so I'm forced to use my aunt's pc..he pc is the only one that can support
all the games without shutting down.

I hadn't thought about playing this configuration for a game. I imagine that the BV would be pretty high! I can see how it'd play out though. A diverse mix of weapon ranges, good armor (except for the Hellbringer - armor's kind of thin), you have front line brawlers with fair fire support if you aren't using Zellbringen. Even if you are using Clan combat rules, each 'mech is pretty good on its own to fight one-on-one.

Thanks! I did this in trueSpace 6.6 with simple lighting for the clay render.
