Well, there's jaggies and shape deformations, especially on sprouts, lightsource for light spots isn't at top left. You also must think about whole 3 dimensional shape either when outlining or shading.
Listening to me isn't obligatory, of course.

It's not the best technique for a pixel drawing, I know. I'm also not the best artist, but it was just to show that you don't need gimp/sai/photoshop, but that MS paint is fine too
