Description
So a while back I decided to make a continuation of the Avatar story, and recently I really wanted to return to that idea, as I was quite enjoying were it was going.
This time I wanted to try to recreate the original style while adding a little bit of my own, and I’m really proud of how it turned out in the end.

Quick recap:
In this story we don’t follow immediately the Avatar, but two volunteers from a Western Emisphere that go around the Far East ( the canon ATLA and TLOK universe) in search of the Avatar as suggested by a message from a previous expedition that mysteriously vanished. Turns out that the East is under attack by an army commanded by a former noble that became a ruthless criminal and then made a deal with a mysterious entity locked away in an ancient vault, that calls itself “The Beholder”. During their travel they meet Ginora’s daughter who becomes their guide and the future air bending master of the Avatar, and face off against various lieutenants of the invading army.

And finally we have the new avatar: a young troublemaker named Raís who lives in the slums of Omashu with his brother Karan who tries to make a living by, you guessed it: selling cabbages.
Raís loves getting into trouble, wherever there’s the possibility of getting hurt, he sees a possibility to have a lot of fun, in contrast with Karan overprotective and paranoid personality. Weirdly enough Raís has been unaware of being able to bend for most of his life, and he discovered being the Avatar in the worst way possible.
He thought it was a good idea to pickpocket a group of shady looking people to see if they had something interesting on them, and also because he wanted to get into a “high adrenaline chase” so that he could experiment with his newly discovered Earth bending.
Unfortunately these three were the hunters that the villain had sent to capture this new Avatar, who immediately discovered who he was using a necklace that they stole from our heroes, who fortunately found themselves on the scene in the nick of time.
Naturally Karan will follow his brother into his quest to learn all the various bending arts, just to make sure he doesn’t get into trouble with these weird new strangers, despite not being either a bender or an expert fighter
