Description So, I was able to watch an absurd Turkish Batman movie called : “The Invincible Batman”, a clearly clickbait title considering that there was no Batman to be seen, instead we get to see the hilariously goofy Copperhead( not to be confused with the DC villain), fighting against the villain with the most ridiculous name and design to ever walked the face of the earth: Doctor Diabolicus. Soon after I was also able to watch a much better movie: the new suicide squad. The rework of Polka Dot Man, by James Gunn, gave me an idea: redeeming Copperhead, and turning him into something better, which isn’t much of a challenge. Disclaimer:
The movie was probably one of the most incredible so bad it’s so good movie out there, it’s quite difficult to find, but it will eventually be worth it, it’s probably at the same level of The Room.

Design choices:

For the costume I staid as loyal to the original as possible as I thought the costume was the classic home made superhero suit: the only things I changed is the mask, which is now an helmet, and I change the black moccasins for a pair of red anti-slip socks. Apart for the black tight suit, the rest of the costume: which includes a pair of gloves a belt and a scarf, is completely red, similarly to the original. For the secret identity I decided to stick with the original name: Takim, unfortunately since he doesn’t have a surname in the movie, I just had to come up with one. For the new context, since I’m now making a Spider-Man alternate universe with new villains, I decided to include him in this new rogue gallery.

Backstory

Takim Özkan travelled from Turkey to America with his parents and his little sister when he was 5 years old in search of a better future. After finding a home in New York life didn’t get better for the Özkan family: Takim’s father struggled to find a job and his mother got severely ill after two months. His father later found a job as a construction worker, but most of their money went into the medical bill for his mother, whose condition got worse. She died when Takim was 11 years old. From then on he sacrificed his future to give his sister a better education alongside his father, he started working as a delivery boy for a local pizzeria, discovering he was quite good at moving around New York with his bike. During this time he also memorized the city’s map, and started working for a kebab vender as well. Unfortunately the paid started to get lower as both of his superiors needed to save money to pay the local gang for protection. However, Takim’s skill in moving through the city was noticed by the gang leader, who proposed him a job as a courier, with not many options at his disposal, at the age of 18 Takim became the gang courier. One year later Takim’s dad died in an accident on the job, living him as the only source of money for his sister’s future. Another drastic change in Takim’s life was when he got face to face with Spider-Man, who was Miles Morales at the time. Miles was trying to incriminate Takim’s gang and was able to find out where a drug deal was about to happen. In that moment Takim did something that not many small criminals where able to do: he outrun Spider-Man. This event gave Takim quite the name through New York’s thugs and small timers, and it wasn’t the only time he succeeded. He knew that city better than anyone which made his gang a target for other criminals who wanted his service. During his jobs Takim never revealed his name and always covered his face with a paper bag, which made him basically a ghost. Because of this his gang was assaulted by another group in order to get their hands on the territory and on their precious courier, fortunately this time Takim wasn’t able to outrun the web slinger this time, sending him straight into the hideout, where the gang war broke out, and during this distraction he was able to slip away. On the other hand however, both gangs were arrested and he was once again without a job, and now that his sister was about to go to college he needed a lot of money. A few years pass and Takim, now 27 years old, accumulated a lot of debts by gambling, and he was also about to get evicted from his house alongside his sister, but another event changed his life forever.
At this point most of the Marvel universe villains and heroes have all died, passed on their mantle, or simply retired, but some were still around, one of those villains was the Juggernaut and another group of heroes that still held some relevancy were the X-men. During a fierce fight between the two forces, hundreds of people, including the supervillain and numerous heroes perished. Takim was present at the scene, but got lucky and survived, but when Juggernaut died, his helmet was broken into various pieces and one of those pieces ended up at Takim’s feet. Seeing this as an opportunity to repay his debts and give his sister a better future, he took the piece and after asking a favor to an old gang member who got out of jail and began working as a mechanic, he roughly modeled the piece into a new helmet. He later discovered that the helmet gave him superhuman strength and speed, and after crafting a suit and, he robbed a bank speeding through the front door at incredible speed, quickly leaving a certain impression to the media, which named him Copperhead. Eventually Takim was hired by numerous crime syndicates to take accomplished heists and deliveries, refusing any sorts of assassinations, until an unnamed client asked him to kill Spider-Man. After all the debts and troubles that he had to go through because of the wall crawler, Copperhead did not hesitate at accepting this job. During this time Miles was training Mayday, Peter daughter, after her victory against the swallow, when the supervillain ambushed them, seeing his costume Mayday underestimated Takim, who almost killed her if Miles didn’t intervene. Unfortunately this decision brought Miles to his demise as Copperhead, fueled by anger, started beating him into a coma, revealing that he was that courier that he was never able to catch, and how he sent his life into a downward spiral. Thinking Miles and Mayday were both dead, Takim left the crime scene horrified of what he did, swearing he would have never accepted another assassination again, but Mayday didn’t forget this moment and swore to take revenge for what he did to Miles.

Powers and abilities

As I previously said, Copperhead has a fraction of Juggernaut strength, speed and endurance, but he’s not bullet proof, although he can survive with a few scratches, impacts that would be deadly to a normal human, like running against a wall at superhuman skills, due to the fact that he’s wearing just a piece of the helmet, Takim is not under Cyttorak influence( the entity who forged the helmet), this however gives Copperhead’s helmet color that is very similar to copper.
