Description I had a lot of fun last time I designed one of these, so I thought it would have been fun to make another one.

All Stand’s names past part 3 are related to western music, but since American songs and bands are quite overused, I decided to name this stand after a European one instead.

The song is “Abiura di me” by the Italian rapper Caparezza, which in English would translate to “Abuses of me”, which I modified to “Abuses of mine” in order for it to sound catchier.

What makes stands great are certainly their designs and abilities, the latter of the two allows to create interesting and tense fights.

For “Abiura di me”/ “Abuses of mine” design I took inspiration from the song’s videoclip where there is a clear homage to TRON, so I decided to make the stand pitch black with glowing blue signs across the body, and gave him an Upgrade style face to fit the technological vibe.

Now you may be wondering why does it look like the stand is slowly disappearing, the answer to that lies in its ability.
Abiura di me becomes completely invisible and intangible whenever it’s under any type of light, Sun included, even for other stand users. But whenever it’s in a dark or poorly lit environment it becomes visible and tangible.
But his power doesn’t stop there as it can still interact with the world while intangible, and if someone is hit by Abiura di me they develop an uncontrollable fear of darkness and overall poorly lit environment, becoming easy prey for the stand. When visible this stand glows a strong light from the light blue marks on its body from which it emits intense amounts of heat. If parts of its body are in sunlight and others are inside a shadow, it will look like they are being cut and pixelated.

Despite this incredible power, “Abiura di me” or “Abiuses of mine” has one fatal flaw: its speed.
This stand can pack one hell of a punch, is extremely tanky, has a range of 100 ft and has quite fast reflexes, but it’s so slow that the user need to physically relocate him every time an opponent moves too far away from it. This means that outrunning it and find a large dark area is the best way to take Abiura di me head on.

Naturally every powerful stand needs a skilled user, and Abiura di me’s Stand Master is Blanco Malpelo.
Ironically Blanco is the complete antithesis of his stand, as sins Abiura di me is bigger than the average stand, Blanco is a scrawny and short kid, and while his stand can’t stay in the dark, he can’t stay in the sunlight because of his albinism.
