Description
Here’s the first boss of the second island of my hypothetical Elden Ring DLC.

From the lore we know very little about the Godskin race, we know they are the spawn of an Empirean known as the Gloom-eyed queen ( Grim-eyed in some adaptations), that they gain power from wearing skin, that they are probably shapeshifters who become more humanoid as they age, that there’s seems to be some sort of hierarchy in their society and that they use the Black Flame who once wielded the power to slay the very gods.
Now with this informations in mind I decided to come up with a Pontiff as they are generally referred as a cult, so it made sense to have a religious leader whose on top of the Godskin hierarchy.
Since they are shapeshifters I decided to give a drastic design change from phase 1 to phase 2.

The Godskin Pontiff is encountered in front of the entrance to the Black Flame Vulcano’s temple as it appears to be in the middle of a procession inside a baldachin carried by four Godskin newborn, while plenty of Godskin lowborn are praying and humming a melody.
The procession stops as the Pontiff glares at the player by peeping its eyes through the skin made curtains of the baldachin, then a thin slimy arm emerges from behind the curtain and after it rings a bell decorated with a human eye and skin, all its followers are alerted of the player’s presence and the fight begins

The first phase is some sort of group fight, as the player is busy to defeat the followers while the pontiff attacks using spells of the black flame. To damage the pontiff the player needs to attack the newborns carrying the baldachin.

At the end of phase one, once every other entity is slain, the Godskin pontiff emerges from the baldachin as a slimy white mask covered in robes made of skin and it slowly takes the shape of a grotesque humanoid with a head for a torso.
During this phase the pontiff can spit black fire like a dragon, use its peeler like the apostles do, it can use various black flame spells like Noble Presence, or it can alter its shape to better suit its needs.
Once defeated it drops the pontiff peeler which has the ability “Black Flame Resonance” which allows the player to create three small black flame homing tornadoes, unfortunately this weapon requires a hole 50 Faith to be use and a 25 Dexterity.
