Lantern man has probably one of my favorite stage concept, and is design looks cool as well. Let me know if you like it as much as I do.

Lore time!

Lantern man is a robot master designed by doctor Sandman. When he presented this design to Archimedes, every other members of the secret society were skeptical about it, since his body is literally made out of paper, but Archimedes agreed to lantern man development. In fact, lantern man turned out to be pretty powerful, he can control air and fire, creating fire tornadoes. Lantern man is very calm and patient, and since is one of the oldest robot masters, he’s deeply protective toward his brothers, even towards Rust man, who feel powerless around Lantern since his paper body is immune to Rust man power.
Lantern man stage would be a carnival near a lake with fireworks that lights up the night sky. The enemy will be like fireworks or confetti and pretty much everything that would be in a carnival. Megaman will fight Lantern man on the lake itself, because the fight will take place in the sky. The player will need to move up and down to avoid the fire tornados I mentioned before and move left and right to avoid the fireworks that are being launched under you, while Lantern man will gently float around the screen.
Once you defeat him you’ll get the weapon: lantern bomb: a bomb that slowly floats forward and that can also be used as a temporary platform.
