Description
Back again with some Dark Souls inspired stuff, just like for Bellringer Crieg, I will only describe this character through his equipment description and some of his dialogue, but in my idea of a souls like game, Sigmund will be the one that lets you level up, if attacked he will become a boss.

Item description:

Feathered helmet: an helmet decorated with black feathers that belong to an unknown bird. It has been enchanted with a powerful spell that make it surprisingly resistant despite being made from of low quality material.

Feathered armor plate: a chest plate decorated with black feathers from an unknown bird. It was made with low quality material but the blacksmith who forged it was certainly talented. The chest plate was enchanted with a powerful spell that make it surprisingly resistant.

Feathered armor pants: a pair of armored pants decorated with black feathers from an unknown bird. Despite the low quality material from which they were forged, it’s surprisingly resistant thanks to a powerful spell. The boots are modeled after a birds feet.

Black wood rod: a magic rod made out of what’s left of an ancient tree that was burned by a long gone evil. The signature weapon of the sorcerer known as Sigmund the poor.

Dialogue:

(After he saves you)

“Uff, Uff, thank the moon you are all in one piece, more or less, you seem to have been through a lot, judging by the bandages on your body, come with me, maybe I’ve got something to attend to your wounds.”

“Oh you’re a mute, perhaps this could help me understand you. Ah much better, I’m now connected to your thought. Oh don’t worry I won’t look too deep into your mind”

“ By the moonlight!! Your flesh, it’s all rotten!! Stay back, what are you?! What do you mean you don’t know?! Well, despite your “nature” you don’t seem to be much of a threat, so I’m going to give you the benefit of the doubt, now tell me, do you remember your name?”

( the player choose his/her name)

“You made it up didn’t you? Mmmh, it’s seem you’ve completely forgotten your identity, well I think “Rotten one” would be a fitting name for you. Oh don’t give me that look, I’m not going to call you with that stupid made up name of yours”

“Anyway, you clearly dislike me right now and I don’t feel particularly comfortable in having a corpse roaming around me, but since we’re the only two “reasonable” beings around these parts, I believe we have no choice but to work together”

“Who am I? Well you surely have been dead for a while, I am Sigmund: King Astaban’s counselor, royal mage and the first of the 7 moonlight knights, although I am probably the last by now. Not much before this plague infested this land, there was a war, and we were winning it, but we were betrayed, by the king’s brother, who somehow send this bane upon the kingdom and sided with the invaders, 3 of us knights were fighting at the front, while 4 of us escorted the king to this temple, unfortunately we lost two in the woods: the twin brothers Sig and Frida, I last saw them near the ruins of the ancient cathedral, I don’t have high hopes for them, they were the youngest of us, and this plague is something that no warrior was prepared to face. The king was heavily wounded after he tried to save my life, that’s when I lost my arm. It should have been me, it should have been me ( cries)”

“Forgive me, remembering all of this hurts, it all happened so fast, I just can’t explain it. What happened to the other knight that was with me, you ask? The king told him to get as many people as possible to the clockwork fortress, he said they would be safe there, but I haven’t heard from him ever since.”

“I know that this may sound weird Rotten one, but would you please look inside my dear king’s grave, I believe there might be something of use for you there and perhaps, I can prove a theory I have upon your nature.”

There would be many more lines of dialogue from Sigmund, but I think this is enough exposition from this character.
