I missed drawing Degondo so here he is again, as you met him once again at the end of your journey.

“Well well well…. looks like our unblemished hero has finally reached the end of his journey”

“To be honest, I didn’t think you had it in you, but apparently I underestimated your stubbornness, or perhaps your stupidity”

“Do you even know why you’ve been brought back to this world? Did you even tried to understand who you really were? Did you even considered that everything your doing is completely pointless?”

“ He he he… I’m pretending too much of you aren’t I?”

“ Oh, what’s with the long face? Did I hurt your pride? By the moon, just look at me, wasting my time talking to a corpse.”

“ And yet, you fascinate me. Your desperate quest to bring an order that you do not comprehend, amidst a chaos that is beyond all of us. While I am here only because I chose too, I’m not interested in the money nor my client’s foolish mission”

“ I’m not bound to a script that I can’t read, I am not constricted by regret, I am not forced by responsibility towards a person that never cared for me, I am not here to save a damsel in distress and I am not here to avenge a fallen friend”

“ Just like all of those fools that have cross your path, you are bound by invisible strings, like a doll moved by some sick demented child, but I have cut my strings, I have killed the child that toyed with me, and now I’m free of everything and anyone”

“But I know you’re not like all those others “adventurers”, no, you know about the strings, you can hear the child cackling, and yet you do nothing”

“ We’re two sides of the same coin, you and I. Unfortunately for you, this coin always lands on your side, squashing you like a bug”

“ Do you still want to go through with this? After all your little adventures and all the destruction you’ve witnessed? Do you still want to be the hero, knowing that your fate has already been sealed? Tsk, who am I kidding, you don’t really have choice in the matter, Ahahahahah!”
