I know the feeling! I came across deviantAnywhere when I was still using Firefox, but eventually I have become a Chrome convert, and to my dismay there was no alternative for it (boy, that was long ago; Webstore didn't exist yet, I think). What you see here is first and foremost "something I built for myself". But now it has nearly 10k users, go figure.

Surprising to hear, though with their move to Blink I shouldn't be too surprised.

Well, I had to use theprovider's "Download Chrome Extension" plug-in. Otherwise, Chrome Web Store does not see Opera as chromium-like browser.

I hope it will, someday. That would be great for Opera users.

Yeah, it would be awesome.
For now, installing extensions that fool CWS to think it's Chrome can be seen as rocket science by some everyday internet people.

FuyonaSoul In reply to logeg [2013-10-24 15:22:20 +0000 UTC]
Yes, I do actually.
I dunno if it is possible but whenever the DA Message Notifier notifies you at a set time, I would like to see the number of messages in total on the tab that is open.
Like if you are on Youtube, the Tab title will say: "(15 new DA Messages)" then switch back to the normal Youtube tab name Like: "Inbox - Youtube"
Sorry if you do not understand.Β

"The dA Messanger won't let me download :\
It constantly tells me to reload the download page
If there another way to get it??"
No matter how many times I refresh my page,
I still get this notification.

I'm sorry for the late reply; I was on vacation.
Is this still present? In any case, that seems to be a Web Store bug on Google side.

π: 0 β©: 1
logeg In reply to Bard24 [2013-06-08 15:50:58 +0000 UTC]
Because I stopped using Firefox? First and foremost, this is something I wrote for myself.
Firefox has #deviantAnywhere , but it's currently old/broken. I contacted the author yesterday, he should put some effort in getting it back on track this weekend.

It seems, as with everyone else, there has been an influx of this error message: "TypeError: Cannot read property 'result' of undefined
at DiFi_countMessages (js/difi.js:298:128)
at XMLHttpRequest.DiFi_JSONrequest.xhr.onreadystatechange (js/difi.js:80:4)"
Can I ask if you're currently working on a way to correct the coding errors? If so, how long do you think it will take? I've just disabled it in the mean time, but would love to continue to use this! If you aren't, can I ask if you will, and when you are going to?

logeg In reply to Arisu-Ami-Chan [2013-06-07 09:16:18 +0000 UTC]
P.S. Usually, there is no need to disable an extension over such things, as it won't spit out distracting notifications. If you kept it up, it would auto-update to fix the error.

I'm horribly sorry about the report though. All the comments, here and at the group must have been tough! I really appreciate the entire extension, though, kind person! {As i have no idea what gender you may be, I shall refer to you as a person.}
It's been such a help when I need to sort through my group messages because it keeps track of them for me, something dA doesn't want to add to the actual group name bar. (The little number ticker.)
