i do have one question. did you know, there is a character from a game (Tekken) called anna ([link] )
who has a blue dress like that. they look kinda similar (minus the glasses)

Hehehe, the name is appropriated, although I've got used to Megane being a male character from the Urusei Yatsura TV series.
I like this "character sheet" style you have been using. I just think you should rotate the character instead of the camera, so that the lighting always comes from the same direction, so that the character will never face the camera while entirely in the shadow. But since this is toon shading, maybe I would reposition the lighting again for every single shot. ^^
The dress is very pretty and renders well in toon mode. It seems to have body handles to control it at leg level. What dress is that?

You're not going to believe this, but the china dress is by Mr. Maya. It is a recent addition to his website. The links on the main download page still work. ([link] ) The dress is a nice piece of work for animedoll/mayadoll. It has 8 body handles. BTW, you will probably see "megane" on that page as well. He did the glasses also.
I like the character sheet as well, but I'm still playing with what format I like. Funny, after I did this I was thinking I should have rotated the model instead of rotating the camera.
