Thanks! It's easy to "animate" Paul Blaisdell's monsters when drawing. I think they're great characters.

Pretty fantastic. I love the shading and the detail you did on the alien. You really bulked him up and made him look a lot better than the actual suit of the movie. I actually drew this guy not long ago...along with 5 other Roger Corman monsters

The old movie monsters are, for some reason, more esthetically pleasing than the newer ones. At least, they are for me.

Oh I totally agree. Everything now looks the same. It's the same big head humanoid like alien that you see in Signs and crap......or its the bland and overly complicated Giger inspired type of stuff. For me....less was always more. Might be why I dig stuff like Robot Monster and Brain from Planet Arous. They were just simple designs

Quite true! And, to be honest, Paul Blaisdell who made the "It" alien could probably have contributed some interesting monsters to the show.Β
