Thanks - I had never heard of the show until I got asked to do the cover art for the boxset but did enjoy watching it for the research afterwards

You're too young to know the show aren't you?(well, so am I) It was made in the late 60's!!! - I'd never heard of it until I got the job... and then I sat down and watched half a season in one sitting, just to get the hang of it!

I've known of it for years! My mum starting watching them and so did I.Although, being only 15 and humour has moved on- I find on the buses hilarious! When I go to my Grandma's I usually watch a DVD before I sleep, I choose 'On the buses' if it is available (if my Granddad ain't watching it.)

I am working on some on the buses art at the moment, I do more humanistic cartoons rather than caricature, so its a joy seeing others interpitations of the Buses Crew . I saw the full box /bus art for the video release its great stuff.

I to finish some of my work in Photoshop too,only for cropping, and colour enhancement.
it gives great perspective on your work I find

Thanks man! I had never heard of the show until I was asked to paint the boxset.
The accents are VERY british, but fortunately I grew up with British (and American) friends, so a little cockney doesnt bother me!

Thanks man! I'd never heard of the show before I got the job either, but I watched a full season to get the hang of the characters. Its all very british, but definitely worth a laugh.

Thanks man! It was a great gig to get - photos and photomanipulation is pretty much the only game in town when it comes to DVD covers, movie posters etc. so it was a real pleasure to do paintings for this one - not only coz of the gig, but its just cool to see more stuff like that out in the market.
