Description
The "On the Buses" box set I did the artwork for finally got released in Australia and I think Beyond Entertainment did a great job on the packaging. Was quite chuffed to see they even used the artwork on the discs and in the onscreen menus. Ignore the not so great quality of the photos and you can see better views of the painted characters [link][link]

They came up alright didnt they! I've worked on a lot of stuff and after awhile you stop being as excited when you see something you've done in a magazine, book or billboard, but this one has me pretty chuffed! Cheers mate!

Tell me about it. I had a hard cover book of mine come through the other day and dumped the box on the floor on a stack of other stuff.

Your style is absolutely perfect for seventies style comedy posters. Reminds me very much of the posters for the Carry On films. It's so good to see them using your art on the packaging instead of more modern art or photoshopped pictures. I hope you get to do lots more work like this!

Thanks man! I'm with you - I'd love to see more illustrated posters and DVD cover - I know photos and photo manipulations are so much quicker and easier, but I miss some of those great illustrated posters of yesteryear!

I'm pretty chuffed - the box sets came up quite nicely. As for the show - I pretty much watched an entire season (3 I think) when working on the job to familiarize myself with the characters and there 'signature' expressions - so now I can watch another 6 seasons!
