Description
Here's the last of the Fossil fakemon: Nigeleph's evolution, Mountammoth!
Noslo is a cold and icy Region, so a mammoth-like fakemon was a must have, imho.
This was one of my earliest designs among the fakes of my Region, so I'm pretty attached to it, even though the design is very basic and simple. But sometimes, less is more, so I think I like it just the way it is. I'm satisfied.
What do you think of this concept? Can you imagine the ancient Noslo, with these guys roaming around?
Also: Slashear and Mountammoth are the only mammals revived through Fossils, if you count the official Pokémon, too! I just noticed that, lol. xD
Name: Mountammoth
Type: Rock/Ice
Species: Mammoth Pokémon
Height: 8'2" (2.50 m)
Weight: 1102.0 lbs (500 kg)
Ability: Ice Body
Reckless (Hidden Ability)
Fakedex entry:
Legends say that these prehistoric Pokémon used to be as large and high as mountains, but revived Mountammoth are sensibly smaller than that. They pump water with their trunks and then spray it on their backs to form layers and layers of ice until they form an iceberg-like block. The Mountammoth with the highest ice block on the back becomes the leader.
Tusk Fossil:
A fossil of a prehistoric Pokémon who once lived in glaciers. It looks like a long and sharp tusk that was used to break ice.
Fun facts:
- Mountammoth is inspired to a Prehistoric Mammoth;
- Its name is the combination of the words Mountain and Mammoth
- Mountammoth evolved from Nigeleph, which could be revived through a Tusk Fossil.
Evolution line:
NIGELEPH ---> lv.40 ---> MOUNTAMMOTH

The design of the tusks really make it unique from other mammoth fakemon.

I love the tusks, they look like great blades of ice, seriously powerful. They also remind me of stag beetle jaws for some reason, but that's irrelevant. awesome design, a much better woolly mammoth than Mamoswine anyway, and I like Mamoswine

Mamoswine's cool, but I always thought that it looked too much like a huge hairy pig rather than a mammoth. Kinda unsatisfying.
Anyway, thanks! I'm glad you like it! X)
