I was more frustrated by people bugging me about "what does this mean" all the time It didn't take that long to write it, actually.
Thanks!

Thanks!
(But change the Kawaii thing to "Common under weeaboos", decent otakus don't use it)

The definition defines "anime lovers or otakus" and specifies anime lovers more often. Because weeaboos often consider themselves to be otakus and because the definition leans more towards anime lovers than to otakus I will not change it. Changing it would also require me to define weeaboos which is not a specifically dA term. Sorry.

Oh well, it's not a big problem...
It's just that some of us anime fans are annoyed to be put in the same category as weeaboos who usually go "OMG THIS IS SO KAWAII DESU" they're not even Japanese, learning Japanese or using correct grammar.

I understand (it's like anthro artists and furries ><) it's just the easiest way to state the definition so that all understand. I'll think about rewording this definition slightly when I do make the updates to the whole thing that are so desperately needed.

Ahaha, yes there is a huge difference between that too.
Well, you don't need to since it's easier for most people to understand (Most people don't no about the huge fights between anime lovers XD)

I'll see what I can do though, anime/manga has a large population here on dA.

It says deviantART is about respect- yet you hardly find any respectful deviants anymore. It's like more annoying Youtube trolls are flooding in to dA everyday, complaining about DD's, news, things on the front page, features, everything... I wish they would go away.
I like this dictionary. Very helpful!

it still does look like just numbers to me, like one thousand three hundred and thirty seven

lost-angle In reply to phoenixleo [2011-02-12 08:02:29 +0000 UTC]
it's really a different way of thinking of the numbers, like 3 is backwards E, 1 is l and 7 is T, not everyone can pick it up.
