so... when it says "deviant art sells prints for artists" does that mean that we, as the artist dont have to print out the pic go to "kinkos" or something make it bigger and send it to whoever wants it. and how would they pay us. because i was going to sell
my "skull" pic.

go to your deviation that you want to sell, on the left hand of the image you'll see a link asking about "Prints" click that link and follow the instructions.
After you submit the Print, anyone can buy it. They buy it from deviantART and you get a portion of the profits. If you buy a print account, you have more control over the prices and your profits.

Did you try selecting "original size" for the preview options? So it doesn't blow it up so huge...

original size would make it bigger, it's about 1,000 pixels wide...
