Description "Day 18 brings us a very interesting set of creatures. The Colossus"
"Colossi are a special massive race that are neither civil nor beast, rather they are similar to dragons in which they live in the wild, but they are wise beyond years."
"Colossi can speak multitudes of languages, including telepathy."
"Colossi are ancient creatures that have appeared in many legends told to all races. No one has ever seen one die of old age."
"Stone Colossi are the smallest of all the colossus, with an average height of 60ft. These Colossi are entirely made out of rock, bound and potent with magic. Stones are unique in personality, having a much more playful demeanor. Stones have many earth properties, from manipulating their sounding area, to packing heavy punches boosted by the earth. However their favorite thing to do is whenever they see children sad, they fall apart into individual stones, then reform into a statue of whatever they please, typically of friendly characters. Stories depict these colossi as guardians to villages, protecting them from harm."
"Volcanic Colossi are the second smallest, with an average height of 600 feet. Volcanic Colossi are fueled by magma, with little rock besides their upper shells. Interestingly enough, the magma they produce doesn't seem to run out until the colossus dies. These are the most violent of the colossi, erupting at the mere sight of a living creature. With the power of fire, there are no shortage of attacks they can do. Legends depict them as angry gods, with some civilizations giving tributes to them. Those civilizations were wiped of the map, buried in ash and molten rock."
"Frost Colossi are the second largest, with an average height of 1000 ft. These Colossi, although having a deep stone shell, have frosted ice and water flowing underneath. These Colossi prefer to laze about, resting for eternity. Furthermore they are not hostile to us, rather they speak often to us and guide the lost to civilization. However, Frosts are in constant combat with greater foes that seek destruction, like Volcanic Colossi. Frosts with the element of ice, creating snowstorms and hurricanes, shooting beams of cold, and even causing light snow fall for travelers and civilians. Legends depict these Colossi as wise, with other demons trekking to it in search of greater knowledge."
"Finally Island Colossi are the largest by far, averaging out at 5 miles! These Colossi are legendary, boasting entire ecosystems on there back. However, with such size these Colossi are ironically almost invisible. Completely still, most Island Colossi don't move at all due to the life they have on them, with most causes of movement being on all fours to avoid causing massive damage. However, they are not at all shy, with a kind and gentle personalities, they love befriending those that live upon them. Additionally, they are not at all poor fighters, with their incredible size, they can easily demolish almost any foe. Thus, they use their life magic with support in mind, mass healing, growing bountiful crops, and even boosting other fighters in combat. Island Colossi are spoke about the most in legends, helping stranded folks survive. However the grandest of all legends is when many of the other Colossi were close to bringing the apocalypse, several Island Colossi stood upwards and prevented it."
"Colossi never seem to interact with each other positively, with Volcanics fighting anyone and Frosts fighting Volcanics. However it is interesting to see that the mere presence of an Island Colossus will keep all other Colossi "buddy-buddy" with each other."
"Colossi are an awe to see in person, with so many unique personalities on each one. Ten outa ten."
"Tomorrow starts our dive into the main races. The Seven Deadly Demons!"
