I responded to your note on that.
As far as your piece goes, I think I'm definitely noticing the difference a smooth surface makes. Am I mistaken about this? It seems your last few have been on smooth board.

You're right. I have leaned toward using the smooth boards in the latest efforts. It seems to accentuate the subtle details that come with the blending, and optical texturing, of the paint colors. Plus I can varnish them to get a more vivid look.
