Description
Made with Fractorium
So I'm backtracking A LOT here. I pulled out one of the oldest iterations of this flame, which is about 4 years old I think? With Fractorium and all the new variations, I feel like it's the right time to get back to the sky/underwater style.

Thank you I like many things about Fractorium. Mainly I like that it doesn't crash with 30+ variations in plug-in folder, which is one of the biggest issues I've had with Apophysis. All the variations are already there and everything works just fine. I also like the transform editor better, it's a lot faster than Apo and I like that variables are right under variations, so I don't have to go to another tab.
Right now I have 2 problems with Fractorium, first is the fact that I can move the fractal around only with mousewheel drag which is SUPER FRUSTRATING for mouseless Mac users and setting it via Flame tab manually is just argh. The other thing is rendering settings, I can't seem to figure it out so that I don't have to post-process my fractals a lot. I gotta talk to Matt about it, or maybe you could help me? Generally, the fractals that come out of Fractorium have less "fluff" or the look less "busy"? I don't know how to describe it. Below is example. First is pure out of Fractorium, just black BG added, second is black BG and 3 additional layers of the rendered PNG. I suppose the difference is subtle, but I think in Apo this was about oversample/filter radius settings, when one of those was too low, the image ended up looking more sparse. I don't know how to fix this in Fractorium.
