Part Two of my entry for the Rukia's Birthday Contest: The Us that's Not Us for the Ichiruki FC on BA. Part One here.So they get their happy ending after all. <3
If the trees look funny, it's because I had to do them three times over because of Photoshop crashes. There's only so many times you can work on trunk/leaf realism before you just...don't care anymore. Man, this took so long.

I love the background in this. The trees are beautiful and the lantern light is so soft and pretty. I love the lanterns themselves as well. And the couple's pose is great. They look so calm. Their fancy attire is gorgeous, too. There's just so much to love about this drawing!

I really can't get over how beautiful this is. I really do love everything about it, from the tiny cracks in the stone to the gorgeous design of their clothes -- Rukia's dress is seriously to die for.
