Part Two of my entry for the Rukia's Birthday Contest: The Us that's Not Us for the Ichiruki FC on BA. Part One here.So they get their happy ending after all. <3
If the trees look funny, it's because I had to do them three times over because of Photoshop crashes. There's only so many times you can work on trunk/leaf realism before you just...don't care anymore. Man, this took so long.

Cripe, now that I have a bigger screen on my computer I can see all the details @______@ It's amazing really, the brush strokes in the trees in the background and the way the outfits are designed. Really fantastic.

Oh my god. Everything is placed so perfectly in this picture. From the trimmings on Ichigo's coat to the embroidery on Rukia's dress...and I love how even in an AU you kept them SO IC...his expression is so tender and unguarded, and hers is so loving yet I see a little amusement there! Just beautiful. I think this just may rival Pina Colada sunrise as my fave IchiRuki art.
And trees? WHAT TREES? I SEE NO TREES, just a beautiful couple having amazing eye smex. (jk, jk...XD)

What a beautiful, beautiful scene. This art has made you a favorite artist for me. <3 I love that the trees aren't as clear or focused as Ichigo and Rukia -- it's makes them stand out more in their own little world. I also really like the atmosphere of some darkness with lanterns lighting the night a bit for them.
