Are prisma colouring pencils really good? I don't think we have them in Ireland..

Prisma color pencils are about the best (and most expensive brand) that I know in USA. I don't think they have it in Ireland. However, I do know a girl who asks her friends to import in Prisma for her (she lives in the UK). It just depends how badly you want them.

Is the most amazing tutorial ever. I've seen tons of shading techniques for PSP, photoshop, MSPaint, etc but this is the first good traditional shading tutorial I've ever found.
I recently got some prismas, so I've been drawing traditionally alot, and this is DEFINATELY gonna help. <3 Btw, what did YOU use to color? Prismas or colored pencils?

Yes, actually, they are very expensive. They're even more costly when you buy them individually - which is what I do right now. I actually have a 72 set right now, but that's only because ~tehying gave it to me (gosh, i love her).

I like in TX, so its pretty big here as well. But there arent as many art stores. Mostly..malls, movie theatres, etc.

Awesome tut, and definately one I am going to use! I used to work a lot with coloured pencils in the past (though not clearly on the same level as you are), so this will give me a pretty big boost I hope!

i just used the hair technique of blending colors for highlights last night in my current drawings. i's surprised by how good it came out.
