Over the course of the past week of insane amounts of work, I've had to start several things to keep myself sane.... On it's own, this one doesn't really count. The other drawing I've started with it, which you don't get to see right now, definitely does count as a "sanity-retrieval" effort.Anyhow. Cat. Um, I was doing a profile of my dragon and realized I had nothing to scale to compare it to. So I whipped out a cat in photoshop.... that I then proceeded to go a little nuts on because I was having fun. If I was too lazy to draw it in pencil first and then colour it (like I did with the rest of the profile dragons), I'd at least make an attempt for fur.
Um. So. Yeah. Fuzzy kitty.
Fuzzy like my brain.
(I'm supposed to be done with my paper for the day after tomorrow. I... honestly don't know if I'm going to make it. Including my bibliography and images, my paper's approaching the 70 page mark, and I'm still going. Never thought I'd be able to write this much on one thing. >^.-.^<

Yeah, the anatomy is a bit off, though the photo made it look a little odd in the first place - I looked at the photo I was referencing and thought, "...are its legs really like that?" And I don't have much practice drawing cats, either. I swear, they have skeletons of putty. Either that or none of their bones connect to each other.
Your Ramayana stuff is looking awesome by the by. I haven't had the time or brains to comment yet, but I will soon. 'Til then, I just wanted to let you know how cool it all looks.

And yeah cats got a weird anatomy, somehow a bit different from dogs when they sit like that. I'm just thinking that for animals than can run fast and jump from the height without damage like cat should have a pretty strong bones. Though its covered all the way by the fur.

The front legs are a bit weird- though the reference I had made 'em look a bit weird, too. I just made them look... weirder. ^_^
My paper is sooooo close to being done. Unless, of course, my professor hands the latest installment back to me with lots of correction marks. Though it seems like I have a bit more time to finish it. Huzzah!
Altogether it's 65 pages long right now, and the scary part is that I could keep going if I had more time. But then, as my friend (who's also in the process of finishing her work to graduate) reminded me the other day, "There's the perfect Plan, and then there's the finished Plan."
IT WILL END!
(I also still have a 15-20 page independent paper to write, though that'll be fairly easy.)

Ack! The day after tomorrow? (Saturday?) I've read through it, and I have a few comments, but I haven't had a chance to send them to you because I had rehearsals and concerts all week. *cries* I'll try to send it tonight when I get home.

=Supposed= to. And yes, I'm supposed to mail it to my outside evaluator ("examinator") Saturday. However, I don't even know if I have one yet. And if I do, there's the sliver of a chance that they'll be in the area, so I can take the weekend and maybe even Monday and Tuesday before handing it to them in person.
I'm probably not that lucky, but hey, I can dream, right?
........actually I can't, because dreaming means I'd be sleeping, and I don't really have time for that.
Don't go nuts from all your rehearsals and concerts! I figured you had something going on when I didn't hear for you for a couple days, so no worries.

Yeah, we're getting to the end of the choral season as well, so suddenly I've become pretty busy. It doesn't help that I work for a professional hockey team and this is playoff season... Ah, well - we were eliminated in the first round, so at least I'm not deathly busy with work anymore.

Good to hear you're staying on top of all the work you have to do, Luthrai! Don't go crazy, okay? Then PoA wouldn't have any cool backgrounds or creatures, and what would we do without those?
