Last week I was inspired to try designing something that could potentially be for an album cover. I'm the kind of person that researches almost everything that I have questions about (or just curiosity) so naturally I do some searching. But that led to some serious downheartedness, seeing pages upon pages of musicians giving the "advice" to other musicians.."find amateur artists, they'll do it for exposure and you don't have to pay them a cent", "make sure you give the artist a strict deadline because they'll rip you off otherwise (wtf - deadlines are fine, but seriously wtf), "never pay the full price of what the artist is looking for"..etc.You get the point.
So half-way through this piece I lost the heart I had for it, but needed to finish it.

Really dismayed about the human nature evidenced in the comments, though. You'd think musicians, being artists too, would have a little fellow feeling and respect.

To the world, we're of the lowest circles in business. But here's what we say: Shut the heck up. We actually work hard on what we do. Also, people do judge by cover, so if we make it look nice and it fits the music style perfect, have some gratitude.
The skull bunny fits the your mood, like a...hollowness, maybe? I don't know... It's a bit depressing, but lovely. Another thing, any one would be blessed to receive artwork from you! I can't think of someone else that paints on feathers with such finesse.
