...help me.Edit: Sigh. Yes, I've read the Guardians of Ga'hoole series. No, I don't like them. They aren't well written, they have glaring inaccuracies about avian biology, and they're targeted for people about fifteen years younger than I am. I am sorry! These owls have nothing to do with those ones.

Your owls are very awesome. I like how you reduced them to a very rounded, toony style, and yet they retain the essence of an owl. Good toonery.

Really great drawings, gotta love how much personality you can get into these owls :3 It inspires me to doodle some more! I do feel the need to comment to your note, though. Yeah, I read Watership Down many many years ago, and loved it so much, I tried to find more animal adventures stories on that level... never happened. The only one I enjoyed was that bat series Silverwing, but... they're all still written for children.
I just really hate when people assume adding an apostrophe makes it sound like a unique language or something. I think that the current trend of 293874298 long series of animal books spend too long trying to be a copy of another series rather than finding their own voice... and they miss the magic of appealing to multiple audiences instead of just those younger, and those okay with reading stories like that.
I just remember picking up one about cats with secret hero ancient cats and evil cats that lived under rocks, and a lot of weird stuff... kept away from most fantasy trying to be Watership Down ever since.
