Wow cool, go for it (sooner the better)! You can practice motion by doing rough animations, like your recent one, you can also challenge yourself by trying to do better with each animation. If you don't have animation program, there is free Flash version, one which I used for some time, I'l link you to a video explaining how to get it: link Keep practicing (and remember to have fun), you never know if you can reach your goals if you don't try, animation power!

Yeah, it's not impossible to animate using photoshop (I know one industry animator who uses it), but there certainly are better programs for animation haha. Flash MX is very light to use, it uses vectors so you need to tinker around with the drawing tools; if you want to use line tool or brush tool and if you want to turn off the smoothness (Flash is known to have very heavy correction, you know what I mean when you use it haha). If you need motivation, you can make twitter account and participate #animonthly (each month 27th), use that # when you tweet animation, just watch out that you use gif or mp4 (if there are no sound, I usually prefer gif since video gets compressed). Flash can export gif and SWF and to convert SWF to mp4 use tool called "Swivel": link

Most of my animation project files are done in a way that I can't really clean them since those are meant to be just tests. I have one short animation (only couple of seconds) which will be fully colored and is part of huge collab which you could say is action ^^

Well... I've not really designed any real characters, but I've one very loose character/idea of a character which I've used and that is "flame dude", the one with the flaming head and body. I just like animating overpowered characters, might as well animate Saitama from One Punch Man haha

I'll be sure also do journal entry about it, so many great and talented animators, many of which I think are better animators than me I can't say for sure if I ever do 1 vs army (it have crossed my mind before), I might, but I think it's better I don't promise anything so I don't disappoint haha ^^

Thank you! I see what I can do, it's something I want to try someday (hopefully soon), really liked Sword of the Stranger ending sword fight. Still not sure if I want to animate sword fight flashy or realistic way.

Oh! But of course! Your welcome kind soul~ And you know...when it comes to fictional fights what even IS "realistic"? Lol Dragonball Z fights consists of rapid punches and kicks (Looped frames of animation), fazing in and out, moving at top speed creating shockwaves in the sky back to the ground, shooting lazar beams that rival a nuclear bomb explosion etc.
Just keep studying swordplay in general and put your own "spin" on it^^ No harm in making it flashy^^
