I made 2 passes, first roughs and then slight cleanup. "Straight ahead animation" means you animate straight ahead, without any key poses, which is called "pose to pose", it's said that combination of these two is the best way. I made some thumbnailing where I figured out somewhat how the motion goes, kinda like key poses, though it was maybe closer to storyboarding. I used 2 layers for motion, with 1s, 2s and 3s. I used 2 layers because I wanted to put some smears on 1s but keep body at different speed. It also enabled me to animate hand on 1s (when it sweeps across the screen at the start) but keep body at 2s and 3s.
You can save this animation and use sites like EZgif to convert it to mp4, then use then media player where are option to look videos frame by frame, players like Keyframe MP (there are free version, with slight limitations). That media player is best one I've come across when it comes to looking things frame by frame, super useful, I use it constantly when I download videos from Sakugabooru and want to analyze the animation
