Description I've been trying to clean out my personal stash of figures lately; all the stuff I collected growing up and hung on too and I figured instead of selling all of it individually, I might try and use some of it for fodder. I have a ton of 3.75 scale stuff and this generic car was one of the things I found.

After seeing the new Mad Max trailer, I wanted to try something along the lines of that crazy, post-apocalyptic style, which is what happened here. Major props of inspiration to enc86 Β  I really admire his work and referenced it often when trying to get the weathering and paint scheme down.

Christened 'Little Bird', this guy is the fast, light scout vehicle. It doesn't use up a whole lot of gas, but it sure doesn't have any protection for it's riders.

Pretty simple vehicles, most of it was just repainting. The original car was already this really gaudy tan color with green rims that I thought was perfect. You never see a fancy car turned into a wastelander car, only the pieces of junk they keep putting back together. I tried to make it rusty, dirty and grimy, but without going too overboard. Lots of mixed paints, drybrushing, washing and some spraypainting.

I did add onto the car, namely the spikes up front which are resized dowel rods. When you ram your enemy, you don't want them getting back up.

Car holds three 3.75 inch figures, wheels all roll, the gunner seat turns, the machine gun turns and raises up and down, and the actual turret snaps on and off to allow figures easier access to the driver and passenger seats.

They're great cars! I guess quite a few were mass produced in generic and knock-off lines, so there are many variations out there, which is great when you want to use one to work with!

Thanks buddy! It was great practice-I might do another, bigger jeep in a similar kind of apocalyptic style and see what I can do withΒ having more space and freedom with it.
