Unlike other wasteland cars, which are typically made of junk cars or pieces put together, the Dunerunner is actually a lost treasure form another time. Made from a rediscovered, and rare, army vehicle, the Dunerunner is a vehicle that not only retains some of the greatest innovations of the old world but commands some of the highest respect in the new. It's military design features an armored vehicle with amazing off road capabilities as well as a very powerful engine meant to handle stress, wear and tear. Under its new masters, the vehicle has been equipped with an even more powerful engine as well as a crude, but very effective harpoon launcher to cripple enemy vehicles. All of this combined makes it a heavily sought after vehicle, only owned by the top of the wasteland gangs and one of the few that is actively maintained in the new world.

Keeping with my vehicle theme, I kept going with my wasteland cars. However, unlike my previous cars, which were for 3.75 inch figures, this car is for 6 inch scale figures, which makes it perfect for Marvel Legends scale, DC, Black Series Star Wars, etc.

I actually got the original jeep in a lot from a friend a few years ago and just felt like doing something with it recently. Unlike my other cars, I wanted to make this more of a 'fancy' car in the wasteland world, so it looks less beat up and a bit more cared for. After all, in a world gone to hell, they aren't going to see many more of these or find many other cars that run as well.

Fairly simple vehicle, the jeep was cleaned and repainted all around to make it look dirty and worn. I replaced the TOW launcher in the back with a knockoff Lego type harpoon gun, which still swivels and rotates on its stand and fires a harpoon hook (it's racked in the pictures)

In addition, I put a new engine on the front to make it look more beefed up, mostly because I liked the look, as well as adding a gas tank to the side of the car.
