I did this the night before Valentine's, but didn't manage to finish in time (the background there, those were going to be Ursula's tentacles forming a heart ^^). Lately whenever I see this I cringe.omg three days

Peter Pan is great, I never really notced how great the animation and story telling was until I watched it thru for the first time about a year ago lol I hope Disney can start doing 2D animation again and be successful, it's time for a 2nd golden age!
A lot of people don't realize but TLM was the beginning of Disney's 1st golden age in animation; it's because of TLM that Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Lion King, etc have those musical numbers. Howard Ashman, the director of TLM, was originally a broadway director before he was hired for TLM. He thought that making the songs like musical numbers people would enjoy it and see it as something fun, not just a cartoon. It also helps that because Disney hadn't made a fairy tale since Sleeping Beauty, the production team worked extra hard to make everything perfect, trying to make something "that fit comfortably on the shelf" with the classics such as Peter Pan, Cinderella, Snow White, and Sleeping Beauty.
A fun fact, it took about 2-3 years to create the storm scene in TLM

I know that Disney is going back to 2-d animation, but I guess we'll just have to wait and see if their next cartoon is successful.

I've tried drawing Ariel in the classic Disney way, but i always manage to completely mangle her :/
Oh! I was in this comic shop the other day and saw that there's a wierd manga out called KilalaPrincess (or something like that) and It looks similar to the Kingdom Heartsmanga(well, same artist?) It's about a girl in anime style who travels to the disney princess' worlds I think? Anyway, the princesses are drawn perfectly in Disney style and in the 3rd issue coming out Ariel is the star! I'll have to see it in person before i get it jsut to make sure there's enough ariel, but they did pretty good on her in the Kingdom Hearts manga. If you see it in stores you should check it out! If i manage to get a copy I'll try to post pictures
