This was drawn for a Voltron artbook which came out recently. The line art is done by m'boy Boo, and colors by me.

I was contemplating what to classify Voltron under: Anime or cartoons? I mean, it's based on an anime, using footage from Go-Lion. But it's so edited, rewritten and censored to hell and back, it's practically a completely different show. This was back in the day when anime fans had actual REAL reasons to bitch about dub jobs, because the entire show was being reworked totally, and not just mispronouncing a name wrong like the "atrocity" it's considered today. (*rolls eyes.* Seriously, you kids have no idea how good you have it.)
