Description

I frickin’ LOVED Shade the Changing Man back in the early Vertigo days. Also fell in love with Chris Bachalo’s art there too. So last year, when DC launched their Young Animal imprint and one of the new books was Shade the Changing Girl by Cecil Castellucci and Marley Zarcone, naturally I had to pick it up. And I did. And both the Wife and I loved it. It was trippy and fun, and it really reminded me of those older Vertigo books, back in the early days. When it ended last year, I was worried that was it, and then during the recent Milk Wars crossover, she had a pretty great and weird meet up with Wonder Woman. And then it continued into the new series which came out last month, Shade the Changing Woman, taking place five years later.
So really, it was a matter of time before i drew fan art.
