He would probably:
a.) Help the kids and the Sheriff with their investigation while also learn from Eleven (though how he would help varying at what moment of the story he appears)
b.) Help the girl escape and stop the experiments that involved her for good and made her join the X-men
c.) Enter to her head in order to learn more about the monster within and shut it for good
d.) Investigate the boy who was lost and see how did the experience in the other dimension affected his mind
e.) Find the kids say "you are Professor X, from the comic books" a bit tiring

Make sense and i guess the kids from x men group would welcome Eleven to their mansion
