hair spray's the key. this wig is impossible to do without hair spray. just lay the extensions out on the floor into smaller groups all clumped together, and rubber band the ends. if it's very loose just use hair spray lightly to keep the strands together. i didn't have bumps in my hair extensions, you could try the hot water method to straighten them out but idk if it would work

So, I went to Sally's to get the hair, and saw that it's like 30 bucks for one small thing of black loose hair. Was it that much where you got it?!

Gah. I wish I knew that, but no, it was just fake hair. It was about 30 bucks for one small thing of hair. But in the end, I ran to a costume store, bought two large 36" wigs, cut off all the hair, and used them to wrap the hair. The bun works perfectly! Thanks so much for the tutorial.

search for a short black wig on ebay. make sure its not from another country though because you won't get it in 2 weeks

are you cutting the wig close to the wefts? is it a long wig? if you cut them all even and they're long you should be able to follow this:

where are you looking for hair extensions? i find it hard to believe you can't find them they're pretty common... i bought them from sally's beauty supply. you could just order them online too.

no, places like that won't have them. they don't carry hair products. you have to go to a place like sally's which is a beauty supply store that carries hair products and/or wigs

okay........how long are the extensions...cause my foam base thing looks a little different than yours

they're pretty long, but it depends on what brand you buy. i think i trimmed off extra when i used mine

I have a very important question.....I could not find hair extensions....would it be okay if i cut long black hair off a wig...it was my dads idea...............just wondering if that would work?
