Description Earth-26 is one of the more... unusual worlds in the multiverse you will find, populated entirely by anthropomorphic animals with physics resembling something found in an old cartoon. Things became even stranger when a glowing meteor passed into the Earth's atmosphere and EXPLODED, showering fragments and strange cosmic energies onto the planet. Once ordinary creatures found themselves gifted with amazing powers. To stop those who would use these powers for evil, a group of adventurers, themselves changed by the meteor, came together to fight for justice. So began the amazing and somewhat wackey adventures of Captain Carrot and his Amazing Zoo Crew!

Fastback: Timothy Terrapin was a simple outdoors turtle when a fragment of the meteor crashed down near his cabin. Knocked off his feet by the shockwave, Tim woke up hours later, aware of the deep, throbbing pain in most of his muscles, even the ones under his shell! Getting to his feet, Tim staggered toward town, only to find himself in front of the hospital in a few steps! The radiation had altered Tim's DNA, allowing him to move at speeds no turtle had ever dreamed possible!

American Eagle: Johnny Jingo is unique among his teammates in that he has NO powers, other than those provided all American citizens by the constitution. Instead, he uses a vast array of gadgets hidden throughout his costume to wage his one-bird war on crime.

Little Cheese: Chester Cheese was the son of Dr. Edam Cheese, who was conducting research on the "Lunar Longhorn," a type of cheese found on the moon by astronauts. Upon returning home one evening, Chester found his father murdered, with the killer surprised him, locking him in his father's lab. Unable to escape and growing hungry, Chester decided to eat the Lunar Longhorn, the only edible thing available in the lab. The extraterrestrial cheese gave Chester the power to alter his size at will. Chester thus went into training to become a superhero, and became "Little Cheese." Chester soon joined the Zoo Crew in bringing his father's killer to justice, and was rewarded membership with the group.

Pig-Iron: To look at him now, you'd never believe that Peter Porkchops was born the runt of his litter. A native of Piggsburgh, Pennsylvania, Peter joined his family's proud tradition as a steel mill worker. Peter was up on the catwalk, dumping bags of powdered limestone into the molten steel, when the meteor exploded. A fragment of the cosmic stone crashed through the mill ceiling and struck Peter in the back, sending him falling into the vat of liquid metal below! Before the astonished eyes of his coworkers, including his father and several of his brothers, Peter emerged from the vat, his scrawny, pudgy body transformed by the radiation and the steel into a towering behemoth of unbelievable strength and durability. Peter dubbed himself Pig-Iron, after the smelting process used on iron ore, and set out to clean up the crime that had so long ravaged his hometown.

Captain Carrot: Rodney Rabbit, a comic book artist and writer in Gnu York, was working at his desk the day the meteor exploded. Fascinated by the sight, Rodney walked over to his window box carrot patch and picked one, not even noticing the root vegetables were now glowing. When he ate the carrot, Rodney's body was transformed, doubling in height and gaining a few hundred pounds of muscle! Growing out of his clothes, Rodney covered himself using an old costume from the office's last Halloween party. Discovering his "Cosmic Carrots" as he came to call them, granted him amazing powers, Rodney set out on a career as the superhero Captain Carrot. Discovering a chunk of the meteor in his window box, Rodney moved it to his backyard greenhouse at his home in the suburbs, allowing him a near-constant supply.

Rubberduck: Famous actor Byrd Rentals was in the middle of an interview with reporter Rova Barkitt at his mansion in the Follywood Hills when a chunk of the meteor crashed into his hot tub, soaking both of them in the irradiated water. Byrd discovered he had gained the power to stretch his body into amazing shapes and forms. A natural showbird, Byrd designed a costume for himself and set out to fight crime for real, and not just on the silver screen!

Alley Cat-Dabra: A martial arts instructor in Mew Orleans, Felina Furr was meditating in her backyard Zen garden when a chunk of the meteor crashed into the cooking pot she kept nearby. The cosmic energies infused Felina with magic powers, and transformed the stirring stick from the pot into a magic wand. Seeing the supernatural forces unleashed on her home, Felina set out to use her magic AND her fordible paw-to-paw fighting skills to combat the forces of evil.

Yankee Poodle: Gossip columnist Rova Barkitt was trying to make a move to serious journalism with an interview with famed actor Byrd Rentals when a chunk of meteor rock crashed into the actor's hot tub, covering them both in the irradiated water. Rova discovered she had been given the power of "animal magnetism" as she named it, able to generate semisolid energy stars to repel objects with her right hand and stripes with her left hand to attract them. By using both hands at once, Rova can generate powerful magnetic blasts.
