Description
The Hydra! a beautiful piece if i do say so myself. i rarley enjoy my work as much as i did on this one, and the name is just perfect.it is a remake of my tri-barreld shotgun ( [link] ). It is named Hydra for an obvious reason, it has 3 barrels (heads). LOADING SYSTEM- each round you see protruding from the clip (10 protrusions in all) are only one of 3 bullets in that section, theres 2 hidden under them not seen (so the clip turns and all bullets are in place). RECOIL SYSTEM- unfortunatley the hydra has no shoulder piece, so to make up it has a grip under its barrels, and thats all its for, holding to lessen recoil on the wrist. BARRELS- three times the heads, three times the teeth, three time the pain, bring the pain!! nuff said. (check ~malmida for shark, a blade attachment for hydra). made in 2 hours 25 minutes (new record for me), made in autocad 02 only. enjoy

Massive recoil on most gauges, I'd imagine, if the tri-barrel design is meant to fire all three at once.

hehe excellent but in the video game Dead Frontier is a shotgun Biforce called C7 and Hydra is nicknamed by double gun you have, if you cut a head emerge two in place so the nickname is very powerful, in fact the most powerful game.

I'm curious if all 3 barrels are used and if so how (as in whether they rotate or like FFVII's Vince's Cerberus gun they're all used at once).

I really dig your designs; you bring together forms that are more like art than weapon with a feel that's hard to describe, other than to say it's got an elegant viciousness to them.
The Hydra reminds me of "Dirge of Cerberus." One of the custom frames for the Cerberus pistol transforms it into a drum-fed, tri-barreled machine gun (called "Griffon") that somewhat resembles your shotgun, while that game's "Hydra" weapon is a huge tri-barreled sniper rifle. I was actually disappointed the game did not include a shotgun frame, it would have been useful.

Reminds me a lot of the weapon that "Mouse" used in "The Matrix" wonder if an actual weapon exists?

yup! autocad 2002, and actually in this i just used the default light. i need to redo this pic actually, since the facetres and AA is so low.
if i were you id check out [link] which is my more up-to-date version. that one uses about 3-4 lights.
