The Graviaventrans are a close cousin to the Tragulasauria, they primarily feed upon cycads, roots and insects they dig up with there strong forelimbs. Measuring 1 meter in length these small insectivorous herbivores use there flat beak to grind up the various food items they eat ( as long as it can fit in its mouth). While the tusks are not used for anything besides intraspecific combat they are extremely aggressive and will attack anything they know they can beat in a fight. They live on the edges of forests boarding steppe made of grass like ferns where they spend most of there time digging up the large beetles and roots they love to feed on and hiding from predators with their green coloration. The Graviaventrans do dig burrows like their ancestors but they don't spiral in the same way, their burrows tend to more horizontal horizontal orientation resembling the shape of that of a cinnamon roll thus earning the name devil rolls. The burrow will have only one camber were the female will viciously protect their clutch of up to 3 to 4 eggs, defending it from even the male unless he chirps a specific melody that the female will can recognize and chirp back to let the male know he is allowed to enter.
