Fullmetal Alchemist © Arakawa Hiromu.ETA: Since several people have asked, I've moved this to my main gallery.
OK, since several people have now asked, I'm going to show you how I colour my picture using only my mouse, a lasso tool and some gradients.
I've never written any sort of tutorial before and explaining stuff isn't really my forte so please be gentle, and if you have any suggestions to improve this, don't hesitate to leave a comment.

For the lineart? Back then I used fine "uni-ball eye" pens, but I don't ink by hand anymore.

I don't think "genius" quite applies to me ^^: but I'm glad I helped you in some way. Keep your eyes open, though, I'm sure there are a lot of much better colouring tutorials out there.

Your coloring technique looks pretty easy! How long do you usually take to color a piece using this method? The final image, by the way, looks great

I'm going to start timing myself because I really can't tell you. Most of the time I work on things on/off for a while, but occasionally I'll do it solidly. I'll try to remember next time.

I put it in Scraps because I didn't feel like putting it in the gallery with all the others, and I thought that giving a link here was a good idea. Maybe not...
I don't know how long it takes me. Too long, most likely. I think I'll try to time myself in the future, to get an idea (and get scared by just how long it takes me, compared to other people *lol*)

I've got Photoshop Elements in french and it's hard to recognise the tools... I think I'll just stay with my old magic wand and my normal lasso (don't have the polygonal one in my 1.0 version...)... until I see you again, put you in front of my computer and make you teach me this in french!! XD
