I have an issue where the tool menu below the address bar in the explorer is the same as with the "Classic Windows" theme and not like in the screen shot.
Also when I get the prompt to e.g. give an application administrative privileges the '_ [square] and x' icons on the top right of the window are black. Only the icons, the background are as they should be.
Any solutions? Other than those issues I love it!

Just read README file carefully. Something is not well done. Install theme from beginning and follow the instruction. If you have problems again make some screenshots to I see what you did specifically.

I am ninety-nine percent sure I did it correctly, as I've done it several times before.
Not sure if these screen shots will suffice, so tell me if there's something in particular you need.

In the screen shots you can see the first bug with the toolbar not showing correctly. I cannot take screen shots when giving permissions however, so I can't show you the black X I get.

Does Windows 8 RP folder on your screenshot 2 contains en-US and shell folder? Did you patched your system with both universal theme patcher versions, 32 and 64-bit?

I only used the 64-bit patcher.
The Windows 8 RP folder was missing the folders you mentioned. I believe it is because after installing the theme I did a system restore because of an unrelated error. I've put them back in now though.
As for the black cross there I just thought it looked a bit off because all the other crosses are white, why wouldn't it be white as well?
Is there a way for me to change the color of it, or does it involve a lot of tedious fiddling that I would most likely mess up horribly and end up breaking my system?

I'm glad you solved the problem.
The close button is same as in Windows 8 RP basic theme, in fact, as in aero lite theme on which base I made the basic style. So I will not change anything. Sorry about that.

explorerframe brought serious problems to windows, so I had to reinstall everything, but everything else is perfect

Maybe you made a mistake by changing the explorerframe.dll.
If you use Windows 7 32-bit you must copy explorerframe.dll from folder "SysWOW64" to "C:\Windows\System32". It is the most common mistake. Just read carefully README file. Some had a problem because they didn't have SP1 installed.

Pal, is there problem that I use the RTM's explorerframe on both Themes?
I mean, I change between this and RTM, but I don't change the explorerframe every time... Ain't the same?

Not a problem. But resources are different in these two explorerframe (navigation buttons, address bar buttons, search buttons).

Great Theme. I think I like this translucent Release Preview version better than the official Windows 8 theme.

With non aero, I cannot change windows color, it alway blue. How can I fix it?

If you think on basic style you can not change the color. That's never been possible in Windows 7.

awesome finally feel this is great visual theme for windows. I love the scroll bar, makes my computer feel new!
I have tried other visual themes but soon grow tired of how they look but this one is just aWeSoMe. Thank you For your Hard Work mare-m. I have learned how to take ownership of computer files and how to patch them with a special program called VistaGlazz and also where the theme files should go in the windows directory and finally feel comfortable changing themes on this windows systems on my own. So thanks again for providing that aspect of the work and for sharing with everyone.

Switched from your RTM theme to this one. Fits Windows 7 much better but still gives a fresher appearance. Thanks for providing such great quality! I'd also like to request the addition of the Windows 8 RTM sound theme.

Nice to see you still working on this one. I think this is what RTM should have been. The real RTM looks too Fisher Price for me. The boarders are too thick, and the non-ability to have aero is a miss miss. A request if possible. Could you add RTM sounds to this?

lol i am so sorry i keep bugging you but... im actually using the task bar on top and the aero peek button is not aligned correctly.
So if you could make a version with:
on top taskbar support
no user pic
date and time on small icons
that would be great!
