Here's an illustration from "The Enormous Egg," a classic chapter book from the 1950's I was hired to re-illustrate for Little, Brown & Co. I had a lot of fun doing this book, and took the job very seriously, since I knew the original had been admired by several generations of readers.Related content

The first thing that came to mind was that one scene in Dinotopia with 26 and Karl. ^^

*GASP!* I remember this book!! I read it when I was small, in kindergarten I believe! I think it was one of the first books I pulled off the cart in mum's classroom... She was a fifth grade teacher at the time. I was so PROUD because I read a FIFTH GRADE BOOK in like 4 days!
