Description
Here's an illustration from "The Enormous Egg," a classic chapter book from the 1950's I was hired to re-illustrate for Little, Brown & Co. I had a lot of fun doing this book, and took the job very seriously, since I knew the original had been admired by several generations of readers.Related content

I remember reading this when I was younger but I can't remember the illustrations very well! :/
Well at least now if I ever babysit any kids or have any of my own, I can see if I can own both verses!

It was a fun read, but kids today would need a LOT of the period stuff explained to them (i.e. party line phones, the existence of newspapers, Congress actually doing things...).
