Amazing light and forms - it's vast too!

I'll have to wait to tweak since just a small preview took nearly 18 minutes to render on my machine! ARG!!!

Thanks Leonie!

18 mins?!! Sounds like your preview settings are too fine.
Try: DEstop = 0.8, RSM = 0.5, SWL = 1, Stepcount = 3, Smooth Normals = 0,
FSR = ON. You might want to save these as your defaults for preview; after
setting these, hit the 'M', and then hit 'preview'. This saves as your
preview default. A preview with these settings for this param set takes
less than 1 min - inc reflects - on my old machine!
Hope this helps?

Thanks! I used the settings of your params just at 480x360 - should have made them looser! Hard to imagine your machine is older than mine though, lol! Haven't had an upgrade in well over two years and that was just an old vid card! Plus I only have 2 gigs of RAM so that's pretty limiting...next big pile of money that come in goes on an upgrade! (I could be waiting a long time!)

Haha, "punctured Erisian's 'Monument'"! Well, stuff happens! And in your case, it looks amazing when it does!

You're very welcome, and thank you for your inspiring params to explore!

I was just thinking about how very soon (if not already) 3D fractals will be used in game level design (of which I'm a big fan!), and a dynamic construction like this is a perfect candidate!

Hi Alida. Hmm, see what you mean! I see that you've gone in really
close to a corner here, so you appear to have missed the 'balloons'
in the centre! Looks like your dynamic fog setting are cranked right
up too!
Personally I'd just 'reset' and try again?
