Description
Just a little trick I found, for anyone who didn't know, and doesn't like going pixel-by-pixel removal or eraser removal. seriously, scanned images have like a bazillion colors to delete.Related content

I like how this works, but my problem is when i scan or take a picture there is too much darkness in some places and then there are huge black globs around my drawing D:

depending on what scanner you have, you may be able to play with the levels and such after you preview,
but if not open GIMP(free photoshop-like program) open your scan, and just adjust the opacity so you picture gets lighter.
otherwise you need a new scanner lol

oh wow this is so helpful 8D
but how do you make the sketch so light? like the pencil sketch? i tried this but idk why but i guess my sketch is to dark and it comes through when i save it as monotone D:

marsh-mallow In reply to nikkiprower [2009-03-07 13:37:31 +0000 UTC]
its a scanner makes everything real light, so my sketch is light as well. but if your traditional sketch is too dark, then i suggest going onto either Gimp or adobe photoshop then...
colors> levels> then adjust. you can make the sketch lighter there

Whe you sve it back to JPED you can color again and it it is still clean!

marsh-mallow In reply to Hamster791 [2008-08-01 00:44:44 +0000 UTC]
yes, that's what supposed to happen but .JPED is a bad file type, .PNG is the best MS paint file to color on.
